About the position

The Experienced Preschool Teacher at The Learning Experience is responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for preschool children. This role emphasizes the importance of nurturing children's academic and emotional growth through a structured curriculum and supportive classroom atmosphere. The teacher will work closely with families and staff to foster a community where children can thrive and develop a love for learning.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for young children to learn, play, and grow.
• Use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
• Implement the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® for Infants, Toddlers, or Preschool children based on their unique needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their children's adventures and achievements.
• Support the center's success by partnering with staff and leadership to achieve enrollment and engagement goals.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers to create a dynamic learning environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of preschool experience required (6 months of professional teaching experience is acceptable).
• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred.
• CDA (Child Development Associate) credential.
