The Experienced Registered Nurse (RN) position at The Woman's Hospital of Texas involves coordinating nursing care for assigned patients to ensure quality patient care. Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for assigned patients in the Unit.
• Provide quality patient care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety, and related criteria for appropriate age populations.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Exercise independent judgment in providing professional nursing care.
• Work cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with an Associates or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• One year clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse is required.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Emergency Medicine, Labor & Delivery, Medical-Surgical, Perioperative Care, or Surgery specialties.
