About the position

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) is seeking experienced SAT tutors to provide in-person tutoring for students in grades 6-12. This part-time, contract position offers flexible hours and competitive pay, focusing on helping students prepare for various school admissions tests including the SAT, ACT, ISEE, SSAT, and HSPT.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person tutoring to students preparing for school admissions tests.
• Conduct tutoring sessions that typically last 60 minutes.
• Schedule tutoring sessions between 2PM and 8PM CST on weekdays and 10AM to 4PM on weekends.
• Maintain regular and reliable tutoring assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from a competitive US 4-year degree granting college or university.
• 1 year of experience in teaching or tutoring.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to commute to client homes.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ISEE, SSAT, HSPT, or ACT tests.
