About the position
TheKey is seeking experienced Spanish-speaking caregivers for full-time and part-time shifts in Chicago, IL, and surrounding areas. The role involves providing high-quality companionship and home care to aging seniors, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being through personalized care plans and daily activities. The position emphasizes compassion, commitment, and a dedication to improving the quality of life for seniors.
Responsibilities
- Help execute comprehensive personalized weekly schedules and care plans
- Complete Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in a safe and professional manner
- Supply personal companionship, remaining actively engaged with each client by providing ongoing social & emotional support
- Assist with personal care activities to include personal hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding and meal preparation
- Provide transportation to and from appointments as needed
- Perform administrative functions such as documentation of completion of tasks and report changes in the client's physical condition, mental capability, or behavior
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional caregiver experience
- Current BLS and First Aid Certification
- Proof of a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, registration, and a reliable vehicle
- Basic Computer Skills
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
