Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates.
• Perform tax planning and strategize with clients on tax-saving opportunities.
• Conduct tax research and draw accurate conclusions.
• Collaborate with the Client Accounting Services team to review and interpret financial data for accurate tax preparation.
• Deliver exceptional client service, maintaining strong relationships through clear communication and responsiveness to client needs.

Requirements

• EA or CPA certification or candidate, preferred.
• BA or BS in Accounting.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience at a public CPA Firm in tax preparation across multiple tax types.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to outstanding customer service.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency and meet deadlines.
• Advanced computer skills in Office and accounting software, including QBO and QB Desktop.
• Experience with Thomson Reuters programs a plus.
