About the position

The Tele Sales Executive at Marriott Vacations Worldwide is responsible for engaging with prospective owners through telephone and email communications, utilizing effective sales techniques to convert leads into purchasers. This role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction post-sale, and managing the sales contract process efficiently. The position requires a proactive approach to follow up on referrals and leads, catering the sales experience to individual customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with prospective owners over the telephone and email to convert them into purchasers.
  • Develop relationships with prospective owners by following up on referrals and leads.
  • Cater the sales experience to the individual needs and preferences of each prospective owner.
  • Follow through with the sales contract process to ensure accurate and efficient paperwork completion.
  • Maintain customer relationships after the sale to ensure satisfaction and develop future business opportunities.
  • Answer owner questions regarding properties and amenities, making recommendations based on discovery information.
  • Monitor contract processing to minimize rescission decisions and ensure timely closings.
  • Use Customer Relationship Management systems to maintain accounts and follow up with customers regarding purchases and contracting activity.
  • Discover the needs of prospective owners and customize sales presentations accordingly.
  • Explain the features and benefits of the Marriott Vacation Club Destinations product.
  • Close sales using approved processes and finalize deals by signing paperwork and notarizing contracts.
  • Respond to and monitor the resolution of customer and owner inquiries in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in English; additional language may be required for certain positions.
  • Active and in-good standing professional Real Estate License where mandated by law.
