About the position

The Experienced Warehouse Order Selector at Performance Food Group is responsible for selecting and preparing food and non-food products for customer orders in a multi-level warehouse environment. This role involves operating pallet jacks and forklifts to transport items, ensuring safety and quality standards are met while maintaining productivity. Responsibilities

• Select cases and containers of food and non-food products to fill customer orders.
• Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts to move completed orders to the loading dock.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures as per company guidelines.
• Perform safety checks on equipment and ensure all safety devices are functioning properly.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards as required by the company.
• Transport completed palletized orders to the shipping dock staging area.
• Shrink-wrap pallets for staging as needed.
• Complete necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.
• Report any unsafe conditions or acts immediately.

Requirements

• Must be able to work scheduled times and required overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Capable of lifting, stacking, and pulling products weighing between 10-90 pounds.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
