About the position

The Experiential Marketing Manager will lead and manage event marketing efforts across North America, focusing on in-person, hybrid, and virtual events targeting various audiences including C-Level executives, advertisers, consumers, creators, developers, and engineers. This role involves project management, stakeholder engagement, and the creation of innovative experiences that highlight emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Project manage and produce flawless virtual, hybrid, and in-person events across North America in cooperation with external agencies and internal Meta stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key internal Meta stakeholders in North America, supporting the Global Experiential and Industry Marketing team.
  • Collaborate with global and cross-functional counterparts to ensure cohesion and scalability for event messaging, campaigns, and product launches.
  • Create and evolve experiences that showcase emerging technologies, enhancing programs and introducing new ideas.
  • Source and manage suppliers, agencies, and platforms across North America to ensure compliance.
  • Work closely with the privacy and sourcing team for finance, procurement, and producing legal documents for events.
  • Travel regularly (up to 50% of the time) for site inspections and events.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in event management.
  • Experience with key audiences including brands, agencies, consumers, creators, and developers.
  • Expertise in project management and stakeholder management with proven communication and decision-making skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively and managing competing priorities.
  • Expertise in delegate registration and CRM platforms such as SplashThat and Salesforce.
  • Experience with virtual event hosting platforms such as Zoom.
  • Knowledge of North America-based regional and local nuances, and venues for in-person events.
  • Experience working in and/or managing event agencies.

Nice-to-haves

  • BA/BS degree, or equivalent, in a related field.
  • Knowledge of Meta platform and its suite of apps and services.
