The Senior Field Service Technician will be responsible for the operation, service, and maintenance of our water purification equipment within our Heavy Industrial Division. This position is based in our Lemont, IL branch and involves servicing on-site equipment. Equipment-specific training will be provided, and while we are willing to train the right person, previous technical, mechanical, or plumbing experience is especially encouraged. Your work schedule will generally consist of day shift hours, specifically 4 ten-hour shifts per week, with opportunities for overtime. Additionally, you will participate in a compensated on-call rotation, which may occasionally require working afternoons or weekends. This role is crucial in ensuring that our water purification systems operate efficiently and effectively, contributing to our mission of solving water challenges globally.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, service, and maintain water purification equipment within the Heavy Industrial Division.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for on-site equipment.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Identify and remedy potential safety concerns during service operations.
  • Engage with customers to provide high-quality service and support.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of technical experience, including industrial or commercial process water experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to utilize smart devices.
  • Ability to work in a high customer-facing position.
  • Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns.
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physicals.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
