About the position

Evoqua Water Technologies LLC is seeking Expert Field Service Technicians to initiate, control, and execute field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. This position is fully remote, allowing employees to work from anywhere in the United States when not required on-site during construction activities. The role involves creating and maintaining a safe working environment and culture within the organization, anticipating and correcting safety issues, and executing necessary contractual requirements in view of project execution. The technician will be responsible for planning work according to critical path schedules, attending and/or leading site meetings to report progress and updates, and participating in and leading daily construction activities. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of experience in a related industrial design build construction position, which includes experience with industrial water treatment technologies, critical path scheduling with resource loading, and leading various sized assembly teams. Additionally, the role requires knowledge of geomembrane and geosynthetic material specifications, layouts, and constructability with a focus on quality control. The technician will also be expected to create detailed plans and project documentation, engage in process design and improvement following Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Agile methodologies, and utilize project management and building processes/best practices. Familiarity with SAP and analytics tools is also essential. The position requires a technical certificate, degree, or industry-specific licenses, such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Engineering Technologist or Technician, or certification from the International Association of Geosynthetics Installers (IAGI). Candidates must also have completed HSE courses such as OSHA 10 and possess certification on the setup, operation, and maintenance of various types and models of Geomembrane Welding and Testing Equipment, particularly DemTech equipment. The role involves physical demands, including the ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, climb and descend stairs, and work in varying temperatures, both indoors and outdoors. Travel, both domestic and international, may be required up to 50%.
