About the position

The Expert Graphic Designer for Nike Basketball will contribute to the graphic design vision for the brand, focusing on authentic team issue and fan wear collections for the NBA. This role combines sport, design, and culture, requiring a high level of creativity and passion to influence graphic direction and strategy throughout the product creation process.

Responsibilities

• Influencing teams and contributing to the creative vision of Nike Basketball.
• Leading seasonal collections and meetings.
• Cascading critical information and presenting design concepts to internal and external partners.
• Building concepts and narratives for graphic design.
• Working with development to finalize production details.
• Gaining feedback from basketball athletes and consumers on designs.
• Choosing trim and print applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design.
• 8 years or more of graphic design experience at an agency or in-house setting, or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
• Strong knowledge of apparel product creation.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and comfortable working within new digital spaces and 3D.
• Ability to translate insights into authentic narratives and visual storytelling.
• Professional visual and verbal communication skills.
