About the position

The Agile Product Owner is responsible for representing the functional and business needs within an Agile leadership team, focusing on translating features into user stories and managing the backlog to align with stakeholder priorities. This role involves collaborating with teams to deliver market solutions, ensuring that each release provides business value, and maintaining the solution vision throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Translate features into user stories within the team's backlog.
• Manage ranking and prioritizing of the backlog to reflect stakeholder requirements.
• Communicate stakeholder needs to the team to meet contractual requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with teams to discover and deliver solutions to market problems.
• Understand, rank, and prioritize business needs with the business.
• Create and maintain the solution vision roadmap and backlog throughout the project's lifecycle.
• Write user stories and their acceptance criteria.
• Serve as the Product Management proxy and decision point for stakeholders.
• Review and accept/reject results during Sprints and in Sprint reviews.
• Attend sprint meetings and provide clarifications during the sprint.
• Create and input into a project's release plan.
• Present work from the Team Backlog during Sprint Planning for acceptance.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience writing business/functional requirements.
• Experience implementing Agile methodologies.
• Strong background in building user backlogs and experience with provider data.
• Leading SAFe (SA) certification preferred.
• CSPO or equivalent certification preferred.
