About the position

As an Expert in Project Cost Control at Exyte, you will play a pivotal role in executing the Change Management Program for various projects, ensuring that all changes are effectively managed and documented. This position requires close collaboration with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to facilitate the change management process. You will be responsible for reviewing impact assessments, generating change notices and orders, and tracking changes through to closure. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining project budgets and schedules, ultimately leading to the success of the projects you oversee. In this role, you will direct change management activities and provide monthly project forecast updates. You will develop, interpret, and execute policies and standards related to trend and change management. Your leadership will be crucial in integrating the change management process with other key project procedures, such as Risk Management and Cost Control. You will also support various stakeholders, including corporate and functional groups, in managing change-related activities. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with the Commercial and Project Controls teams to validate and adjust budgets, forecasts, and deliverables. You will prepare and direct change management presentations for both Exyte and client management, leading Change Control meetings to ensure all parties are aligned. Additionally, you will be responsible for generating change summaries for project management review, managing the Change Management Program software module in SharePoint, and contributing to reports on changes, impacts, and performance KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the Change Management Program on projects, including upstream Client/Owner and downstream subcontractor/vendor changes.
  • Collaborate with project teams to train, guide, and support the change management process.
  • Review impact assessments and generate change notices and change orders.
  • Track changes through to closure to ensure projects stay on budget and schedule.
  • Direct change management and monthly project forecast update activities.
  • Develop, interpret, and execute policies and standards applicable to trend/change management activities.
  • Provide leadership in integrating change management with other key project procedures such as Risk Management and Cost Control.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Project Controls teams to validate and adjust budgets and forecasts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field required, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 5-8 years of experience in an EPC environment.
  • Project Controls experience on large EPC/EPCM projects ($100 million+).
  • Demonstrated capability to interface with commercial and technical functions for baseline change management.
  • Ability to deliver communication and training on change management processes and procedures.
  • 5+ years of experience in deployment of and/or participation in a change management process for EPC projects.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex data.
