About the position

The Expert Requirements Engineer at Peraton will play a critical role in supporting the integration of new sensor capabilities into the Enterprise architecture for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). This position requires extensive experience in requirements engineering and systems integration, focusing on delivering trusted engineering capabilities to enhance national security. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to develop and trace program requirements, ensuring alignment with mission needs and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide systems engineering and integration support for NGA's Sensor Integration Office.
  • Develop and trace program/project requirements to source requirements for duplication and gap analysis.
  • Coordinate with users and stakeholders to develop Sensor program requirements for new and changing mission needs.
  • Utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Tableau for tracking requirements and documentation.
  • Support joint integration activities with NGA/NRO.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or equivalent experience (4 years without a degree or 2 years with a non-STEM degree).
  • 18+ years of experience in a Requirements Engineering discipline or closely related field.
  • Experience tracing program/project requirements to source requirements such as JARM and JARM TSTs.
  • Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Tableau for requirements tracking and documentation.
  • Ability to coordinate with users and stakeholders to develop Sensor program requirements.
  • Working knowledge of NGA IPO infrastructure and joint integration activities.
