About the position

The Space and Intelligence Sector is seeking an Expert-level Systems Engineer specializing in Sensor Integration to join our dynamic team in either Springfield or Chantilly, VA. This position is critical as it supports the Government by providing systems engineering and integration support for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency's (NGA) Sensor Integrations (TIS) Office. The Sensor Integration team is responsible for delivering strategic and solutions-level systems engineering support, focusing on the integration of new sensor capabilities into the Enterprise architecture. This role requires a deep understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle and the ability to navigate complex environments involving large systems of systems or service-oriented architectures, whether they reside in cloud, on-premise, or hybrid infrastructures. As an Expert Systems Engineer, you will leverage your extensive experience (18+ years) in government or industry to guide the integration of advanced sensor technologies. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that the integration processes align with the overarching goals of national security. Your contributions will be pivotal in enhancing the capabilities of the NGA and ensuring that the systems we develop meet the rigorous demands of modern defense and intelligence operations. This position requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to pass a polygraph, reflecting the sensitive nature of the work involved. Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering and integration support for NGA's Sensor Integrations (TIS) Office.
• Deliver strategic and solutions-level systems engineering support for the integration of new sensor capabilities into the Enterprise architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of integration processes with national security goals.
• Guide the integration of advanced sensor technologies within complex environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Imagery Analysis, or related STEM degree program, or equivalent experience of 4 years without a degree or 2 years with a non-STEM degree.
• 18+ years of experience in government or industry in relevant areas including DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process, or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems.
• Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle.
• TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.
