About the position

Tria Federal is seeking an Expert Technical Writer with at least 15 years of experience to support the creation and management of technical documentation for various projects. The role involves collaborating with multiple teams to produce high-quality documentation that meets customer needs and adheres to industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to read and analyze highly technical materials and to create presentations of that information.
• Authors complex software documentation, including user manuals, release notes, installation guides, design guides, training materials, technical guidance, and other technical documentation.
• Partners with teams such as development, customer engineering, marketing, and technical support groups to understand and respond to customer documentation needs.
• Creates new documentation and evaluates, edits, improves, and corrects legacy documentation.

Requirements

• Advanced ability to design and develop Microsoft Products including Office, Project, and SharePoint.
• Excellent writing, editing, drafting, and journaling skills, to include the ability to design and create documents and artifacts from notional ideas.
• Conceptual and practical understanding of all project management knowledge areas preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and handle tight deadlines.
• Highly responsive to requested needs.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to work with confidential and proprietary information using utmost discretion.
