About the position

The Exploitation Specialist - Data Scientist position is a senior-level role that requires a current TS/SCI clearance and a current CI POLY. Located at NGA Washington, this role is pivotal in leading the design and application of methods to identify, collect, process, and analyze large volumes of data. The primary goal is to build and enhance products, processes, and systems, thereby accelerating the implementation of the NGA Data Strategy and improving crisis response capabilities within the community.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and application of methods to identify, collect, process, and analyze large volumes of data.
• Help accelerate the implementation of the NGA Data Strategy and crisis response to the community.
• Enhance workflows and create efficiencies that result in greater productivity.
• Lead projects using advanced mathematical, statistical, and scientific techniques to examine complex missions and operational problems.
• Support data analytics, data cleansing, analyst workflow efficiencies, and transformation supporting Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) capabilities.
• Apply statistical and analytic methods to support answering intelligence questions and mission requirements.
• Build lightweight analytic tools to visualize analytic outputs for intelligence consumers.
• Design methods and mechanisms to track, report, and monitor mission-specific objects.

Requirements

• Current TS/SCI clearance.
• Current CI POLY clearance.
• Experience in leading data science projects.
• Proficiency in advanced mathematical, statistical, and scientific techniques.
