About the position

The Barback position at Nataz Restaurant is a part-time role focused on supporting bartenders in a fast-paced nightlife environment. The Barback is responsible for maintaining the bar's cleanliness and organization, restocking supplies, and providing excellent customer service to enhance the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, including liquor, beer, wine, and garnishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Help with the setup and breakdown of the bar before and after shifts.
• Support bartenders during busy periods by delivering drinks to customers promptly.
• Collect empty glasses and bottles from tables and ensure they are properly cleaned.
• Assist in managing inventory levels and alerting management when supplies are low.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and ensuring their needs are met.

Requirements

• Experience in bussing or working in a restaurant or nightclub environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and compliance.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others as part of a collaborative team.
