About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Expo to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Expo plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of service. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food orders are correctly prepared, plated, and delivered to the correct tables in a timely manner.
• Verify the accuracy, presentation, and quality of dishes before they leave the kitchen.
• Collaborate closely with servers, chefs, and kitchen staff to facilitate efficient service flow.
• Organize and prioritize incoming orders, managing the timing of food delivery during high-volume service periods.
• Help ensure that all customer needs are met by assisting with special requests and adjustments.
• Stay updated on menu items, availability of ingredients, and daily specials.
• Assist with general cleaning, organization, and restocking duties.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen or restaurant environment, preferably in an Expo role or similar position.
• Familiarity with Mexican dishes and ingredients is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
• Attention to detail in checking orders and ensuring quality presentation.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple orders during high-volume service.
• Problem-solving skills to address issues quickly and maintain service flow efficiently.
• Team player who works well in collaboration with others.
• Food Handler Certification.
