About the position

The Export Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with U.S. export regulations while supporting government operations and international partners. This position involves analyzing export activities, overseeing the export of products and services, and conducting internal assessments to validate compliance with trade regulations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze export activities to maintain adherence to U.S. export control laws.
• Oversee the export of products, services, and technical data while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Conduct internal assessments to validate proper execution of trade compliance activities.
• Utilize expertise in ITAR, EAR, and documentation related to export compliance and trade ethics.
• Provide operational support and guidance on export declaration compliance.
• Implement and manage processes, controls, and record-keeping related to export declarations.
• Prepare for audits by filing, reviewing, and amending declarations as needed.
• Collaborate with management to identify and propose improvements for existing processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in international export or trade compliance roles.
• Strong understanding of ITAR, EAR, and documentation related to export compliance and trade ethics.
• Certification as a United States Export Compliance Officer (CUSECO) is a plus.
• Secret Clearance is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a willingness to learn new software applications and database management systems.
