About the position

As a Quick Lube Technician at Nalley Kia, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while performing essential maintenance tasks on their vehicles. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who are passionate about the automotive industry and eager to learn and grow within a supportive team environment. You will be responsible for conducting oil changes, tire rotations, and battery testing, as well as performing routine vehicle inspections and maintenance. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that customer vehicles are returned in the same condition or better than when they were brought in. In this role, you will utilize the multi-point inspection form for each vehicle, ensuring that all necessary checks are completed accurately. You will also participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs to enhance your technical skills and knowledge of new technologies. This position requires a positive attitude, teamwork, and the ability to work repetitively on complex tasks, making it ideal for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Perform oil changes, tire rotations, balancing of tires, and battery testing.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
  • Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
  • Utilize product and technical training as assigned by the manufacturer and management.
  • Ensure that customer vehicles are returned in the same condition or better than when brought in.
  • Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training, programs, and schools.
  • Continuously expand knowledge for new technologies and practices.

Requirements

  • Automotive technical school certifications preferred.
  • Previous experience highly preferred.
  • Apprenticeship experience a plus.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have basic tools.
  • Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test).
