About the position

The Extended School Year (ESY) Coordinator will oversee the Extended School Year Program, which runs from December 1, 2024, to July 30, 2025. This position is crucial for ensuring that students with special needs receive the necessary support and educational services during the summer months. The coordinator will be responsible for program planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring compliance with educational standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Extended School Year Program for students with special needs.
• Plan and implement educational activities and services during the ESY.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the program and make necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to support student needs.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding special education.

Requirements

• B.A. in Psychology, Education, or related Social Science field.
• Coursework and/or training in Positive Behavior Support, Functional Behavioral Analysis, and/or Applied Behavioral Analysis.
• Background in technologies used in assessment and data collection and analysis.
• Teacher Certification required.
