About the position

The Extension Educator: Energy & Community Vitality at Penn State University is responsible for developing and delivering educational programs focused on energy development and its impacts on agriculture, economics, and communities. Responsibilities

• Develop educational materials tailored to 36 communities across Pennsylvania, considering local energy development and community concerns.
• Deliver educational content through in-person workshops, articles, videos, and other accessible formats for non-experts.
• Build and strengthen partnerships with stakeholders to enhance energy program delivery and marketing.
• Conduct evaluations, surveys, and needs assessments to assess the impact of energy production and educational programs.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• One or more years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check.

Benefits

• Competitive salary range of $51,000.00 - $74,000.00.
• Possibility of funding renewal for up to three years.
