The Extension Program Coordinator for 4-H Youth Development at the University of Illinois Extension plays a vital role in promoting, expanding, and implementing educational programs focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) for youth in schools and communities. Additionally, the coordinator will be tasked with collecting, processing, and maintaining program records and data, conducting evaluations of program activities, and making recommendations for program continuation, modification, or discontinuance. Regular reporting, participation in professional development opportunities, and compliance with University of Illinois Extension policies are also essential components of this role. The position involves both office work and community engagement, necessitating access to transportation and attendance at evening and weekend events.
