About the position

The Segment Controller will play a pivotal role in ensuring that segment reporting aligns with the business operating model and adheres to US GAAP reporting requirements. This position is critical for evolving financial reporting and analytics to present key financial data, including P&L and Balance Sheet, in alignment with long-term business priorities. The role involves close coordination with various finance teams and managing a team to drive updates in financial reporting methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP segment reporting requirements and evolve reporting to align with business needs.
• Coordinate efforts across Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Financial Systems, and business unit finance teams to enhance financial reporting processes.
• Evolve financial reporting data structures and methodologies in collaboration with FinTech teams.
• Simplify and automate financial reporting cycles through process improvements.
• Improve reporting and analytics capabilities across key financial statements and performance metrics.
• Supervise and mentor direct reports, providing guidance for their professional growth.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement among stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required.
• Experience in project management is essential.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and practices.
