About the position
The Eye Technician / Ophthalmic Photographer / Optometric Technician role involves providing support in ophthalmology through various technical and photographic tasks. Responsibilities
- Assist in ophthalmic procedures and examinations.
- Perform ophthalmic photography as required.
- Provide technical support to ophthalmologists and optometrists.
- Maintain and operate ophthalmic equipment.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Certified Ophthalmic Technician certification (COA, COT, COMT, or OSC preferred).
- Knowledge of physiology related to ophthalmology.
- Experience in a clinical or technical setting is beneficial.
