Eyewear Customer Service/Sales Advisor Part Time

About the position

As an Eyewear Consultant at MyEyeDr., you will play a crucial role in providing personalized eyecare and exceptional customer service to patients. This part-time position involves assisting patients with eyewear selection, explaining insurance benefits, and collaborating with the office team to ensure a seamless patient experience. You will receive training to develop your skills in the optical industry, even if you have no prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with exceptional customer service by understanding and advising on their needs.
• Assist patients in the eyewear/frame/lens selection process using knowledge of product lines.
• Consistently deliver sales plans and office goals through relationship building and trust.
• Provide comprehensive explanations of insurance benefits to patients.
• Utilize company training to fit, measure, and adjust eyeglasses from a wide selection of eyewear.
• Complete optometric tasks in partnership with the Office Optometrist.
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to provide a seamless patient experience.
• Communicate and demonstrate MyEyeDr. values and brand philosophy while working with patients.
• Participate in other office duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in a customer-facing or sales-related position (Retail, Hospitality, or Optical field preferred, but not required).
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Willingness to learn about the industry, products, and services.
• Ability to sell with a desire to meet office goals with a positive attitude.
• Friendly, caring, and patient-centric personality who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player willing to collaborate to provide the best patient experience.
