About the position

The Eyewear Product Development Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the product development process from concept to production. This role requires a blend of creativity and analytical skills, as well as strong leadership abilities to manage day-to-day operations related to product development, design, and logistics. The coordinator will work closely with the owner and various teams to ensure effective communication and execution of product strategies.

Responsibilities

• Involved in design and development for eyewear brands for private label and branded products.
• Responsible for studio sample and library maintenance.
• Daily communication with factories to follow up and advise on design and product development direction.
• Create seasonal trend reports based on stores, social media, and research.
• Maintain detailed and organized records.
• Utilize software such as Excel, Word, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator for various tasks.
• Manage additional responsibilities involving social media and in-house growth.
• Write social media posts, blogs, and correspondence with vendors, sales members, product managers, and marketing team.

Requirements

• Product development experience required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience with Microsoft Excel preferred.
• 1 year of experience with Adobe Illustrator preferred.
