About the position
The Aircraft Field Service Engineer (FSE) position at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company involves providing direct support to F-35 squadrons at Luke Air Force Base, AZ. Responsibilities
- Support F-35 squadrons at Luke Air Force Base, AZ.
- Act as a technical interface to the on-site customer for maintenance and modification activities.
- Provide direct on-site support as requested by the customer or program management.
- Manage and track multiple engineering and logistics support activities, providing periodic status updates.
- Troubleshoot and analyze Avionics/Mission Systems and other aircraft systems.
Requirements
- 6 years' experience on 5th Generation Fighter Aircraft (F-22 or F-35)
- Experience troubleshooting Avionics/Mission Systems (MS) on any aircraft platform
- Previous Field Service Engineer (FSE) experience
- Final Transferable Secret Security Clearance
Nice-to-haves
- 5 years of experience with Avionics/Mission Systems (MS)
- Experience communicating with Military leadership teams and Senior Leaders
- Fault isolation and problem analysis experience at the sub-system level
- Technical report writing skills
- Experience with technical drawings/schematics reading and interpretation
- Experience with engineering tools such as FSE Vision/VAST, PDM, VAS, JEDI, JARVIS, and CRE
- Experience partnering with USAF and Partner AF military operational units
