About the position

The F-35 Aircraft Flightline Expeditor at Lockheed Martin plays a crucial role in supporting the aircraft maintenance operations at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. This position involves facilitating maintenance efforts, utilizing advanced management tools to track aircraft data, and ensuring efficient scheduling and coordination of maintenance activities. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to manage aircraft operations effectively and support the maintenance team.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates aircraft maintenance efforts using Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS).
  • Tracks aircraft history, maintenance, engine data, and Time Compliance Technical Data (TCTDs).
  • Projects future maintenance events impacting aircraft operations.
  • Plans and develops current flight schedules for efficient service and resource utilization.
  • Coordinates with Maintenance Manager on schedules and aircraft status.
  • Provides On-The-Job training to government and partner personnel.
  • Assists Operations Analyst with monitoring aircraft status and requesting base support.
  • Coordinates TCTD execution with Aircraft Maintenance Managers.
  • Works with maintenance supervision to ensure timely completion of maintenance actions.
  • Maintains accurate aircraft status boards and performs other duties as directed by the Manager.

Requirements

  • 8 years of aircraft maintenance experience in flight line operations as a USAF 7-skill level or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of F-35 aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Experience with Aircraft Statusing, Scheduling, Records Management, Maintenance Control, and Supply Chain Management.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a flight line driving competence card.
  • Must acquire and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience as a Maintenance Controller, Aircraft Production Supervisor, or Aircraft Flightline Expediter.
  • Submitting Action Requests (AR) and ordering parts using ALIS.
  • Knowledge of USAF AFI 21-101.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid US Passport.
