About the position

The F-35 Aircraft Flightline Expeditor position at Lockheed Martin involves supporting the aircraft maintenance operations for the F-35 at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. The role requires facilitating maintenance efforts, utilizing advanced aircraft management tools, and ensuring efficient scheduling and coordination of maintenance activities. The Flightline Expeditor will also be responsible for training personnel and maintaining accurate aircraft status records.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the aircraft maintenance effort using Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS).
• Tracks aircraft history, maintenance, engine data, and Time Compliance Technical Data (TCTDs).
• Projects future maintenance events impacting aircraft operations.
• Plans and develops current flight schedules for efficient service and resource use.
• Coordinates with Maintenance Manager on schedules and aircraft status.
• Provides On-The-Job training to government and partner personnel.
• Assists Operations Analyst with monitoring aircraft status and requesting base support.
• Coordinates TCTD execution with Aircraft Maintenance Managers.
• Maintains accurate aircraft status boards and performs other duties as directed.

Requirements

• 8 years of aircraft maintenance experience in flight line operations as a USAF 7-skill level or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of F-35 aircraft maintenance experience.
• Experience with Aircraft Statusing, Scheduling, Records Management, Maintenance Control, and related programs.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a flight line driving competence card.
• Must have at least an Interim Secret Security Clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as a Maintenance Controller, Aircraft Production Supervisor, or Aircraft Flightline Expediter.
• Knowledge of USAF AFI 21-101.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid US Passport.
