About The Position
Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment team as an F-35 Aircraft Maintenance Manager for our Edwards Air Force Base flight test site. This position will provide direction to the F-35 Integrated Test Force on second shift. Additional responsibilities include technical direction and oversight of daily flight line operations; interaction with Ops personnel, Ops schedulers, Ground Ops, Air Vehicle Systems and Material Review Board Engineers, Quality Engineering, Air Vehicle Managers and Air Force Production Superintendent(s) and organization leadership. Coordinates and integrates efforts of the 'purple' (Air Force, Lockheed, Government Civilians and Government Contractors) team as well as Admin tasks such as performance appraisals, timekeeping, staffing & disciplinary actions for both salaried and hourly personnel. Scope of responsibilities includes detailed planning, requirements management, risk management, and flight test maintenance operations management. Oversees and directs maintenance activities associated with the management of flight test operations.
