About the position

Lockheed Martin is seeking an F-35 Operations Center Analyst to join the Aeronautics Field Sustainment team at the Wright-Patterson Operations Center in Dayton, Ohio. This entry-level position plays a crucial role in supporting the F-35 program, which is vital for the national security of the United States and over 70 other countries. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for all F-35 Operations Center customers and sites, ensuring effective communication and support across various sustainment organizations, including Sustaining Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and Field Operations. The analyst will be responsible for maintaining current processes within the F-35 Operations Center and will be instrumental in proposing and implementing new processes and best practices as the center evolves. A key focus of this role will be to enhance the overall availability and mission capability rates of the F-35 fleet through daily tactical engagement with customers. Given that the F-35 Ops Center operates 24/7/365, the candidate must be flexible and willing to work various shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance and F-35 Program access. This position requires a strong customer service background, particularly in a call center environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. While not mandatory, experience in a fast-paced work environment, military aircraft maintenance, and excellent communication skills will be advantageous for applicants.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a conduit between internal and external customers and the F-35 Sustainment organizations.
  • Maintain current processes and propose new processes and best practices for the F-35 Operations Center.
  • Focus on improving the overall F-35 Fleet Aircraft Availability and Mission Capability rates through daily engagement.
  • Work in a 24/7/365 operation, requiring flexibility to work different shifts and days.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a customer service call center responding to customer emails and phone calls.
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Familiarity or experience with customer support skills and/or military aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Presentation design and web environment experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
