The F-35 Operations Center Logistics Items Analyst at Lockheed Martin plays a crucial role in supporting the national security of the United States and allied nations through effective logistics management. This entry-level position is based at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base facility in Ohio and is part of the Aeronautics Field Sustainment team. The analyst will be responsible for ensuring that spare parts are distributed efficiently to meet operational and depot repair requirements. This includes managing replenishment, replacement, and returns for repair, as well as parts required for aircraft modifications and consumables. The role supports both Flight Test and Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) efforts, making it integral to the overall success of the F-35 program. Key responsibilities include maintaining communication with customers and management regarding supply demands, ensuring that provisioning and Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) requirements are met, and providing input to performance metrics. The analyst will also maintain accurate records of operational requirements, manage the supply chain for the storage and transportation of returned assets, and generate purchase requisitions for repair actions. Additionally, the role involves monitoring the receipt of items at the source of repair, tracking and reporting status requirements until delivery is complete, and preparing necessary shipping documentation. This position requires a U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a government security clearance, as it is located at a facility that requires special access.
