About the position

The F-35 Operations Center Logistics Items Analyst position at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is a critical role that supports the national security of the United States and allied nations. This entry-level position is based at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base facility in Ohio and operates on a third shift schedule. The primary responsibility of the analyst is to ensure the effective distribution of spare parts to meet operational and depot repair requirements. This includes managing replenishment, replacement, and returns for repair, as well as parts required for aircraft modifications and consumables. The analyst will support both Flight Test and Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) efforts, playing a vital role in the logistics and supply chain management of the F-35 program. In this role, the analyst will be responsible for status updates to customers and management regarding supply demands, ensuring that the Provisioning/Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) requirements are met to receive assets. The analyst will also provide input to performance metrics, maintain accurate records of operational requirements, and manage the storage and transportation of assets being returned to the supply chain. Additional responsibilities include generating purchase requisitions for repair actions, monitoring the receipt of items at the source of repair, tracking and reporting status requirements until delivery is complete, and preparing necessary shipping documentation. The position requires a U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a government security clearance, as it is located at a facility that requires special access.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure spares are distributed to meet operational and depot repair requirements.
  • Status customer and management on supply demands.
  • Ensure Provisioning/ALIS requirements are in place to receive assets.
  • Provide Ops Center input to performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate Ops Center records of requirements.
  • Provide supply chain management for storage and transportation of assets being returned into the supply chain pipeline.
  • Generate purchase requisition for repair actions.
  • Monitor receipt of the item at source of repair.
  • Track and report status requirements until delivery is complete.
  • Prepare and/or coordinate required shipping documentation of source of repair.
  • Acquire data associated with each repair action.

Requirements

  • Experience with Supply Chain, Logistics or related discipline.
  • Customer Service experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Team player with a positive attitude who is a self-starter.
  • Familiar with inventory management, financial, contracting, and product support activities.
  • Experience with Supply Chain Item Management.
  • Experience with operational support or program management.
