About the position

The F.A.S.T Regional Sales Support role is responsible for providing comprehensive sales support to designated regions of the Sales Team at Automobile Protection Corporation (APCO). This position requires maintaining an in-depth knowledge of products and processes across all APCO brands, managing deal setups, and assisting in achieving regional revenue goals. The role involves building relationships with sales representatives, responding to inquiries, and facilitating communication between departments to ensure effective sales operations.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with sales representatives in assigned regions to meet sales support needs.
  • Proactively communicate with sales representatives to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Respond to inbound inquiries from sales representatives in a timely manner.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on products and rates, managing rate card requests and ensuring the latest versions are used.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify exceptions and communicate appropriately to relevant parties.
  • Assist in securing required documentation for sales processes, including signup paperwork and commission changes.
  • Set up users and provide training for sales-related portals such as seller sign-up portal and online store.
  • Work closely with setup teams to ensure timely completion of all information/documentation for setups.
  • Assist sales representatives in preparing to prospect or pitch new customers, ensuring marketing materials are accurate and up to date.
  • Gather necessary information for new product requests and facilitate discussions with management and the Product Development Team.
  • Complete FAST Helpdesk tickets as assigned, prioritizing high revenue opportunities.
  • Support company sales initiatives and strategy by providing custom reports and identifying opportunities.
  • Effectively manage escalated items and document appropriately for management.
  • Assist other departments with Regional Sales Operations requests as needed.
  • Communicate, train, and develop materials for new product launches and processes.
  • Provide backup support to the Dealer Support Team when needed.
  • Attend sales meetings virtually or in person as requested.
  • Participate in and provide cross-training to other team members.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of industry experience, preferably in a dealership setting.
  • Prior F&I experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the automobile industry, particularly in sales support roles.
  • Familiarity with sales-related portals and online sales processes.
