About the position

The F&B Outlets Manager is responsible for overseeing the total operations of the food and beverage division within a hotel. This role focuses on ensuring quality preparation, prompt service, efficient administration, and profitability across all outlets. The manager will supervise and train staff, maintain inventory, enforce safety protocols, and drive financial performance through menu creation and cost management.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, guide, and train all management level associates in the food and beverage discipline.
  • Schedule, evaluate, and direct all food and beverage personnel, including providing disciplinary action if necessary.
  • Ensure appropriate inventory of supplies and materials needed for associates to perform their jobs.
  • Establish, direct, and review performance standards in food preparation, purchasing, and production.
  • Monitor, direct, and coordinate effective sanitation, cleanliness, and organization efforts in food and beverage areas.
  • Establish, direct, and review liquor procedures to ensure adequate security and accountability.
  • Collaborate with hotel management team and property General Manager in various meetings and programs.
  • Drive financials through creation of menus, specials, and promotions, while maintaining or decreasing food costs.
  • Coach and counsel associates, including managers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure effective operation of the overall hotel.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a Food and Beverage leadership role with a proven record of success.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to food and liquor service.
  • Strong business communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • High work ethic and self-initiative.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
  • Basic computational ability.
  • Ability to maintain excellent relationships with staff and maintain confidentiality.

Nice-to-haves

  • Some travel may be required.
  • Ability to participate in and lead departmental and/or hotel team meetings.

Benefits

  • Salary range between $75,000 - $80,000 annually
