About the position

The F&I (Finance & Insurance) Manager is responsible for facilitating the financing of vehicle purchases for customers at a family-owned dealership. This role involves structuring deals for maximum profitability, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing excellent customer service throughout the financing process. The position requires strong communication skills and a professional appearance, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Help customers arrange financing for their vehicle purchases.
• Present additional products that enhance the vehicle ownership experience.
• Structure deals for maximum profitability and collectability.
• Maintain proficiency with title laws and the registration process.
• Accurately desk deals and submit them to lenders for approval.
• Make credit decisions and effectively close deals.
• Ensure all deals comply with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Prepare paperwork and contracts for deal delivery.
• Audit team deals post-sale to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure the expeditious funding of all contracts.

Requirements

• Experience in dealership management, automotive sales, retail sales, warranty processing, or customer service/support.
• College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Professional personal appearance.
