About the position

The F&I (Finance & Insurance) Manager at Murphy Ford, Inc. is responsible for facilitating the financing of vehicle purchases for customers, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maximizing profitability through effective deal structuring and product offerings. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as a deep understanding of dealership finance and insurance procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide recommendations and assistance to customers in order to arrange the financing of their purchases.
  • Present customers with additional product offerings to enhance their vehicle and ownership experience.
  • Ensure sales are structured to produce the highest profitability.
  • Maintain proficiency and certifications as required for the position.
  • Accurately desk deals, submit deals to lenders for approval, make credit decisions, and effectively close deals.
  • Ensure every deal is fully aligned with local, state and federal guidelines.
  • Prepare paperwork, contracts, and deliver deals.
  • Accurately audit team deals post-sale and deeply analyze for improvements.
  • Guarantee the expeditious funding of all contracts.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years experience in a similar role.
  • Menu selling experience.
  • Maintains relationships with banks.
  • Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures and products.
  • Proficient at structuring deals for maximum profitability.
  • Skilled negotiator and closer.
  • Well-versed in title laws and registration process.
  • Professional personal appearance and extraordinary verbal/written communication skills.
  • Expertise in negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
