About the position

We are looking for an F&I (Finance and Insurance) Manager to join our growing team at Hutchinson Auto Group. The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures, enabling them to assist customers effectively and close deals on additional product offerings. This role is crucial in ensuring that our customers have a seamless experience when financing their vehicle purchases, while also maximizing profitability for the dealership. The F&I Manager will be responsible for providing recommendations and assistance to customers in arranging financing, presenting additional product offerings that enhance the vehicle ownership experience, and ensuring that all sales are structured to produce the highest profitability. In this position, the F&I Manager will maintain proficiency and certifications as required, accurately desk deals, submit them to lenders for approval, and make informed credit decisions. It is essential that every deal aligns with local, state, and federal guidelines. The F&I Manager will prepare all necessary paperwork and contracts, ensuring that deals are delivered efficiently. Additionally, the role involves auditing team deals post-sale to analyze for improvements and guarantee the expeditious funding of all contracts. The F&I Manager will play a pivotal role in the dealership's success by ensuring that all financial transactions are handled with the utmost professionalism and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide recommendations and assistance to customers in order to arrange the financing of their purchases.

Requirements

  • Eagerness to improve and grow within the role.
  • College degree preferred or equivalent experience in finance and insurance.
  • Deep knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
  • Proficient at structuring deals for maximum profitability.
  • Well-versed in title laws and registration processes.
  • Professional personal appearance and extraordinary verbal/written communication skills.
  • Expertise in negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
