About the position

The F&I (Finance and Insurance) Manager at Hutchinson Auto Group is responsible for overseeing the finance and insurance processes within the dealership. This role involves assisting customers with financing options, presenting additional product offerings, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of dealership finance procedures and a strong ability to close deals effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations and assistance to customers in order to arrange the financing of their purchases.
• Present customers with additional product offerings to enhance their vehicle and ownership experience.
• Ensure sales are structured to produce the highest profitability.
• Maintain proficiency and certifications as required for the position.
• Accurately desk deals, submit deals to lenders for approval, make credit decisions, and effectively close deals.
• Ensure every deal is fully aligned with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Prepare paperwork, contracts, and deliver deals.
• Accurately audit team deals post-sale and analyze for improvements.
• Guarantee the expeditious funding of all contracts.

Requirements

• Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures
• Proficient at structuring deals for maximum profitability
• Well-versed in title laws and registration process
• Professional personal appearance and extraordinary verbal/written communication skills
• Expertise in negotiation and presentation skills
• Valid driver's license
