About the position
The Finance & Insurance Manager at Fox Hyundai Ann Arbor is responsible for overseeing all financial transactions related to vehicle purchases. This role focuses on building long-term relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The manager will also be tasked with generating additional revenue through the sale of finance and insurance products, while maintaining strong relationships with financial partners.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial transactions for vehicle purchases.
- Sell financing and credit life, accident, and health insurance to customers.
- Provide thorough explanations of aftermarket products and extended warranties to customers.
- Convert cash deals to finance.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with finance sources, including the manufacturer.
- Process finance and lease deals accurately and fairly through financial sources to secure approval.
- Process all federal, state, and dealer paperwork related to vehicle transactions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations affecting the finance department.
- Complete necessary paperwork for vehicle sales and leases in a timely manner.
- Check all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc., before forwarding to accounting.
- Acquire and maintain current state insurance license, completing continuing education as needed.
- Ensure collection of all finance and insurance fees.
- Work closely with the sales manager to establish and achieve sales department goals.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
- Ability to drive an exceptional customer experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
