About the position
The Finance Manager at Young Subaru is responsible for managing finance and lease deals, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing leadership within the finance department. This role is crucial for converting cash deals to finance, processing necessary paperwork, and securing approvals from financial sources. The Finance Manager will work closely with the sales team to maximize profitability and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Converts cash deals to finance
- Processes finance and lease deals accurately and fairly through financial sources to secure approval
- Processes federal, state, and dealer paperwork related to vehicle transactions
- Understands and complies with federal, state, and local regulations affecting the vehicle and finance department
- Completes necessary paperwork for vehicle sales and leases prior to sending to accounting
- Checks paperwork for correct title, lien information, and taxes before forwarding to accounting
- Ensures full coverage insurance is on all vehicles sold prior to customers leaving the dealership
- Works with sales manager to secure a reasonable profit from each sale
- Coordinates finance forecasting with the sales department
- Ensures collection of all finance and insurance fees
- Takes all credit applications
- Provides leadership and training where necessary
Requirements
- Must acquire and maintain current state insurance licenses
- Bachelor's Degree or 5 years equivalent experience
- Previous Auto Industry Experience is Required
- Ability to analyze and write reports and journals
- Follow procedures/regulations
- Must have a clean background and driving record
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
