About the position

As an F&SCM Consultant specializing in Finance, you will play a crucial role in supporting organizations through their digital transformation. Your primary focus will be on optimizing financial operations, configuring ERP systems, and ensuring smooth implementations. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and enhance their financial processes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients' finance teams to understand their unique business needs and gather detailed requirements.
  • Configure ERP systems, specifically financial modules like General Ledger, Cash and Bank, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Cash Flow, Fixed Assets, Expense Management, and Budgeting.
  • Lead or assist in the end-to-end implementation of finance modules, including scoping, system setup, testing, and go-live support.
  • Analyze existing finance operations to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions that enhance efficiency.
  • Provide training sessions for finance teams and offer ongoing support to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance.
  • Oversee the migration of financial data from legacy systems to new platforms, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Design and build customized financial reports, dashboards, and analytics tools for real-time business insights.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and client satisfaction remains high.
  • Continuously monitor updates and new features in F&SCM and financial technologies to improve offerings.
  • Collaborate with other consultants and departments to ensure seamless integration across all business functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 F&SCM.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Substantial AX/D365 F&SCM experience in finance.
  • Dynamics AX/D365 F&O certifications recommended.
  • Experience interfacing with end-users and gathering business requirements.
  • Demonstrated credibility with clients and ability to articulate the value of Dynamics AX/D365 F&O.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience designing and coordinating multiple AX/D365 F&O full cycle deployments.
  • Worked on multiple successful implementations both on-site and remote.
  • Strong organizational skills.
