About the position

The F135 on-site Operations Center Senior Manager at Pratt & Whitney is responsible for overseeing fleet management and sustainment operations for the F135 propulsion system at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. This role involves leading the Operations Center and Field Operations Support teams, ensuring 24/7 support for the F-35 fleet, and coordinating with various stakeholders to resolve technical and logistics issues. The successful candidate will analyze processes to improve performance and maintain communication with key partners in the sustainment organization.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Fleet Readiness employees that support fleet operations 24/7.
• Support Fleet Metrics Analyst with data for daily fleet drivers and communicate propulsion status of all NMC aircraft to PW leadership.
• Coordinate process execution with various functional departments across the value stream.
• Support internal and external meetings, reviews, and status calls, integrating responses with the F135 Fleet Management Center.
• Assist the PW Fort Worth Action Request Analysts for AR/DR/MERLIN coordination and responses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics, or management disciplines, and 8+ years of experience in fleet management/readiness support; OR an advanced degree and 5+ years of experience in fleet management/readiness support.
• US Citizenship required due to government contracts.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced degree, MBA, engineering, or logistics disciplines.
• Excellent presentation skills and project management proficiency.
• Familiarity with F135 propulsion system and 5+ years working in F135/F-35 program.
