About the position

The Facade Estimator position at GPac involves estimating and managing projects related to glass and glazing or facade systems. The role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in facade estimating, project management, and the ability to work independently while making critical decisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Estimate costs for facade projects including storefronts, window walls, curtainwalls, and skylights.
• Manage projects from contract acquisition through to close-out, including handling RFIs, submittals, change orders, and punch lists.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and structural drawings to understand architectural intent.
• Utilize project management and estimating software to track project costs and progress.
• Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, architects, and site personnel.

Requirements

• 0-5+ years of project management experience in the glass and glazing or commercial facade industry.
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions.
• Experience with project management software and estimating software.
• Strong communication skills with various stakeholders.

• Unitized curtainwall experience.
