About the position

The FAA Data Analyst/Visualizer position at Strategic Innovation Group LLC involves leveraging data analysis and visualization skills to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The role focuses on administering Tableau sites, building dashboards, and ensuring data integrity through validation and reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data management and BI reporting, contributing to the company's mission of delivering high-quality professional services.

Responsibilities

• Administer roles, access, and permissions to Tableau Sites in Tableau Online.
• Build worksheets, dashboards, and data sources in Tableau Desktop.
• Perform daily data validation and reconciliation.
• Utilize Presto to connect Postgres DB to Tableau Online for reporting data.
• Run Alteryx workflows to alter, clean, and consolidate data from various sources into Postgres database.
• Validate hundreds of Alteryx workflows that facilitate loading DELPHI data into EIM.
• Configure Alteryx server to schedule workflows and enable team collaboration.
• Collaborate with FAA Alteryx and Tableau Admin teams to enhance efficiency and resource utilization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience with SQL queries (Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Postgres, MySQL, etc.).
• Advanced Excel skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Current Public Trust clearance or higher.
• Experience with Denodo, Starburst EIM SQL, and Oracle EBS.
• Knowledge of maintaining CMMI ML3 for development.
