FAA Propulsion Test Technician 3 (Shifts: 2-10:30 PM or 10-6:30 AM)

About the position

As an FAA Propulsion Test Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our Aerospace business unit in Phoenix, AZ. You will be responsible for conducting tests and evaluations on propulsion systems and components. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the development and improvement of aviation technology. You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests on propulsion systems and components
• Analyze test data and provide recommendations for improvements
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve issues
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in conducting tests on propulsion systems and components
• Strong technical skills in propulsion systems and testing procedures
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively in a team

Nice-to-haves

• Associate's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
• Experience with test equipment and data analysis tools
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
