About the position

As a Fabrication Project Manager at Gulf Process Gases, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of fabrication and construction projects. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing complex projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans outlining project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Oversee fabrication shop activities and manage project budgets and schedules.
  • Lead project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and address any issues or deviations from the plan.
  • Communicate effectively with project sponsors, stakeholders, and team members to provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet established standards and requirements.
  • Anticipate and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget effectively.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in fabrication and construction projects.
  • Familiarity with hydrogen, syngas, and carbon monoxide generation processes.
