About the position
The Fabrication Team Lead at Technifab Products, Inc. is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the work within the fabrication cell. This role involves managing personnel and equipment allocation to ensure quality requirements are met and delivery deadlines are achieved, while also performing hands-on tasks within the cell.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and coordinate work within the fabrication cell.
- Allocate personnel and equipment to meet quality and delivery requirements.
- Perform hands-on job responsibilities within the fabrication cell.
- Lead and train team members to enhance performance and quality.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- Strong desire to lead and train others.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, bills of materials, and inspection procedures.
- Physical ability to repeatedly lift at least 50 lbs.
- Excellent attendance habits and a strong work ethic.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous leadership experience.
- Experience in continuous improvement and cost reduction.
- Familiarity with saws, grinders, metal shears, lathes, and mills.
